The Photography Committee aims to capture the fleeting beauty of nature through photographic images that document the wonders and magic of our natural world. These images will be shared with GCA members through Club, Zone, and GCA exhibitions and digital platforms. Additionally, the committee will document Club activities and encourage and provide photography coaching to interested members.

Capturing the Future of Photography

Mary Howard, Cindy Packard, Tania Deary, and Mary Lou Bradley gathered at KK Zutter’s home on February 5th for a vibrant viewing party of the GCA Virtual Photography Conference. The day featured dynamic presentations from guest photographers who introduced novel apps and demonstrated exciting new creative techniques, motivating the group to play with their cameras and truly immerse themselves in the experience of capturing images that ignite the soul. The inspiration was so high that the conversation continued long after the final segment, with everyone eager to get their hands on new resources and start experimenting!

We met and looked at the ones we brought on a big screen, commented on them and thought of ways to improve them with the skills we were learning on our iPhones.
